PHP magic:   It struck me the other day that the method I used to hyperlink errchk.h in my code examples could be used to link names of system services and RTL routines to say, the documentation. So for your browsing enjoyment, I've just implemented that. Hope you like it. (47 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)

Tag cloud added:   Tagging posts seems all the rage at the moment. And the version of Movable Type I just upgraded to today supports an input field for new entries that allow arbitary tagging. So today I've trolled back through a couple of years worth of entries and tagged them. The new Tag cloud in the left menu allows you to view a page of tags that link directly to Swish-E searches for that tag. (72 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)

MT 3.34:   I've just updated this site to Movable Type version 3.34. Due to some modifications I've made to the configuration over the years, the upgrade is not particularly easy, as I have to be careful not to break a customization. If you notice weirdness, let me know. (71 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)

Site (finally) updated to XHTML 1.1:   I've finally managed to get around to upgrading the site to XHTML 1.1. There should be no noticable visual difference, but I'll feel more up-to-date ;) (27 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)

Feeds status:   The patch feeds are again being updated. We apologise for this outage :) (13 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)

Patch feed update status:   Due to my relocation to Australia, which occurs beginning tomorrow, the patch feeds which are usually updated once each twenty four hours will not be updated for a few days. Obviously, with my computers about to begin a long sea voyage, it will be difficult for them to communicate with the 'net. I am hoping that I can coerce a computer in Sydney to begin running the update script starting Saturday (Sydney time). My apologies if this inconveniences anyone. (79 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)
