Alpha recovers:   My AlphaServer 800 5/400 is back up and running after I reseated all the boards and memory. Boy, am I relieved, as I really didn't need the expense of purchasing another machine just at the moment. I will eventually take the money I saved and invest in a reasonable line conditioner. A new lexical:   Just recently in the Usenet newsgroup comp.os.vms, one of the OpenVMS Engineering Team announced that there would be a new lexical function available in OpenVMS 7.3-2 called f$delta_time(). (81 words, 0 comments, 0 pings)
