Update on SAN issues

The SAN issues we've been having have been narrowed down to either the HBA firmware or a problem within OpenVMS itself.

Using a fibrechannel analyser, HP captured traces between the HSG80 and switch, and the switch and the HBA. Somehow, the HBA is not returning an packet acknowledgement it should be.

The problem has been sent to Engineering for a hard look. Hopefully we will have a resolution soon.

Update (29-Dec): Perhaps clearing the switch firmware was premature. Focus has returned there.
