The SAN grows

I added two more switches yesterday, one to each fabric. Now I have seven edge switches and a single core (times two of course for dual fabrics). The switches were going to be used to add a second core to each fabric, but as we are finally looking at doing an enterprise wide SAN, I have used them to create the first storage-only edge switches.

Eventually, all of my switches will plug into two new Brocade 12000 director class switches and become edge switches. But that's a few months down the track...
