  • you think that "open" is a silent prefix
  • disciplining your kids is CMKRNL time
  • your first reaction to a problem is not to reboot the machine
  • you believe a normal date is written dd-mmm-yyyy
  • your LOGIN.COM file has a version number greater that 1024
  • your LOGIN.COM file has its own debugging language
  • you think the Pacific Northwest is still known for its trees
