See what putting your code up on the web does? Thanks to Carl Perkins, who spotted a glaring bug in WatchDir, there is now a new version that properly uses the NMX bits of the File ID to produce the correct lock resource name.

I have tested the new code on system and privately mounted volumes with better than 65,536 files (to ensure the NMX bits do the right thing). However, as I now only own an Alpha, the code has not been tested on VAX. I expect that it will work, but it's untested.
