Biting the bullet

Ever since I originally set up this site, I have been considering web page management systems. I have been dithering around because of the lack of permanent access methods to the net in my area.

I still want to host the site on my own machine, but it looks like I will have to wait until I either move, or an ISP gets their act together and supplies high speed access (read: DSL) to my place.

So I have decided to buy a year's worth of web hosting. And at the same time, I am biting the bullet and converting to the Movable Type web site management system.

I have downloaded it and played with it on my linux laptop. Now to get serious...
